As with previous years, this forum continues to grow in popularity and attendance. Supported by ACEDA, CYWHS and the Body Image and Eating Disorder Consortium. Aceda are pleased to be associated with Women's Health Statewide in providing the registration form and information about this years event.
Event Details When: Monday 9 May & Tuesday 10 May 2011, 9.30am - 4pm. Where: Queen Victoria Lecture Theatre, Women’s and Children’s Hospital, North Adelaide (enter off King William St) Morning tea and a light lunch will be provided. Registration: $33.00 each day or $66.00 for two days. Student concession also available. (See registration form for details). Receipts will be provided. A certificate of attendance will be available for each day.

Forum Description The Body Image and Eating Disorders Consortium is holding its 4th Research and Practice Forum. Day one – National update, research papers and eating disorder counselling practices. Day two – Addressing body image and eating disorders in schools.
- Keynote speaker on each day will be Christine Morgan, CEO of the Butterfly Foundation and National Director of the National Eating Disorders Collaboration.
- Research papers from three different South Australian university researchers.
- A variety of counselling approaches will also be discussed by eating disorder practitioners.
- Presentations on youth programs by young people and school based initiatives currently happening in SA.
